Carter 2 months and update!

Again I am lazy blogging and behind some. According to my Friend I am 5 wks slacking. Oh well. So its crazy that Carter is now 2 months old. Wow that went by so fast. Craziness. He weighs 11 lbs and 23 1/2 inches. He is smiling alot. The cutest ever. He wouldnt let me take pics of him smiling. I wasnt very fast. But one morning he was cooing and smiling and I was able to get a couple.
Kaden has started his new school. He has gone 3 days. He supposively is doing good. I cant believe he is 5 yrs old. He still likes riding the bus to his school. He hasnt really meet any friends here in the neighborhood nor really plays with anyone. Its hard to see your child struggle and people who dont understand him. It has caused alot of rift raft in my Family and makes me sad. But he is learning alot and really inquiring about lots of things. He comes up with the funniest questions. He has such a great imagination. Such a cutie.
Brylee is almost 3 yrs old. That went by fast too. She is going to start preschool next month. Holy cow what am I to do without my side kick? Then if she qualifies for the school district Kaden and her will be in the same class for 2 months unless they both qualify for summer school then it will be more.
Carter is more alert and smiling and cooing. He is so cute and fun to play with. He doesnt like bath's (probably thinks were the worlds most meanest parents) he cries so loud and is mad. But he will thank us one day right? He just eats,sleeps,plays. I am the luckiest Mom though. He sleeps 8 hrs threw the night. So glad I get my sleep :)
Jeff is fixing his clunker truck. Him and a co worker went in on a truck. He slipped up and told me while I was painting a craft. I wasnt too thrilled but he got a dang good deal and so I cant get too mad. Jeff works and when not working he is a great Dad taking care of Kids while I work. Then on his spare time he is doing his "projects".
Shealyn (I) am just busy being a Mom and working part time. I am pretty boaring but its always a zoo here. So if you want cheap entertainment come here and just watch. Kaden will entertain you. I am finding a lot of different things I want to decorate our house with and have found some good deals. It's fun to finally be able to have something that is yours and you can do what you want to do and not worry about putting nail holes in the wall and having a land lord freaking out or dealing with flooding at least 1 time a yr(knock on wood).
Christmas was good this yr. We stayed home and also went to my Parents house. Jeff's Family was in Boise this yr and we didnt know if Jeff had to work so we werent able to go. The kids all made out good (thanks to clearance things :) ) The most loved presents was Kaden's helecopter and his bike. Brylee her's was her two dolls and backpacks and little play plates,forks,spoons,knifes,bowls,teacups. Carter maybe his new clothes and toys he got. His bouncer lol. I dont know about him. He just slept most of the time. We ate crab legs Christmas Eve which is a Thomas Family tradition. New Years we hung out and watched movies.
So that is all that we are all up too. I want to ask a question and get some feedback. We are in dire need of a Family vacation. We havent been on one since Kaden was 12-18 months. We have been down to Salt Lake and up To Boise but I really dont call those vacations. Not too far and we have been there a lot of times. So my question to you all is: What places have you been that you enjoyed and not too expensive either. I will be on a budget. And I would say it would probably be just for a weekend. What I have thought about is Jackson Hole, poss. Disneyland for a few days. So let me know. Hope all is well with everyone. Have a great day. The Fish Family.
